Agreed - please turn off HTML mail for the digest guys like me.

For anyone interested, the flaw is that (a-b) equals zero, so the transition
from step 4 to step 5 is division by zero.  Were you to state a specified
domain (a!=b,-b) you would directly contradict your first assumption.
That's why a formal proof must specify a domain.
