Is it possible? Because I'm thinking of making a traffic light with an AVR, 
but because I want it to be more then a traffic light, I'm thinking of 
adding an interface with my TI-83 which can in turn set different variables 
(Like amount of cars passing and such). Anyone have any idea on how to best 
approach this?
