Anyway, I think a network-lib would be a good idea, with a 
well-though-through interface, and then the details of the lowlevel actual 
communication between the calcs could be adapted and finetuned under a 
longer time, without haveing to change any programs/games using the network.
The lowlevel details always change with implementation.
