The $4 serial link works for many people, myself included,
however, it is a hack, and does not meet the specifications
for devices attached to RS232 ports, and so might not work
with your particular hardware. It does work with most hardware.
The more complicated (but still trivial to constuct) bcc2.gif is
superiour in design, and is much more likely to work with
a wide range of hardware. It might work better for you.
