This is probably not going to happen.  My preliminary research indicates
no less than $60 per calc, closer to 100, depending on how many features
are included and how much work I do (if I decide to do one at all).

Driverless with TI-Protocol is not difficult, but driverless with ASM
games and stuff is harder (slower anyway), since the signaling protocol
isn't necessarily the same.  

If driverless, it will run with two modes, TI-Protocol mode and
compatibilty mode, which would be quite a bit slower than TI-Protocol
mode.
