pretty much... besides, FLASH is protected memory, ie, you can't overwrite a program by accident (well, TIOSly speaking at
least). And FLASH resists a "reboot". if the calculator crashes and you need a reset, FLASH variables/programs will still be there.
some calcs will need a program though (can't remember if because Hardware or OS) which you can find on TIcalc. Very nice for
storing games. :)
btw, locked variables cannot be changed while protected, but are in ram.
oh, another things, flash is slower, so every time you run smtg on ASM it is copied to ram for speed, but won't be copied back, so
there go games.
