Hi, i was wondering if somebody might be able to put me in the right
direction to getting my serial link working. When i plug it in to my serial
port, the LED comes on, and when i plug it in to my calculator (an 83, but
happens to 82 i've tried aswell), it causes it to 'freeze'. as soon as i
unplug either the cable from the computer, or from the calcualtor, after
about 2 seconds, it returns to normal.

i've checked all the connections, checked all the solder joins (i did mine
on a pcb), and everything was ok, i got my electronics teacher too have a
look at it, he checked everything, but still no go. the only thing that i
can think that it might be is the diodes, i asked for 4.7v zeners, but i
didn't know what wattage, so i got 400mw ones.

i also would like to get my hands on a rom file, so at least i can use an
emulator to start to learn asmbler, but if anyone could help i would be very
greatful.
