2 advantages:
More archive space for apps w/ams 2.0x(702k shared, whereas hw1 is ~351/351
apps/flash apps)
2mhz faster than hw1(now that makes a difference! </sarc>)

disadvantages are too overwhelming to list all
No Greyscale
Will have some serious problems if you try to hack it.
Compatability with games, umm where is it?
and the list goes on
