I do remember late in 98 or so some genius opened up his calc (85) and 
soldered a 2nd ram chip over the old one and put a swich on the chip select 
lines and he managed to turn his 32k 85 in to a dual 64k (2 32k chips) calc. 
hope that helps.
Also i tink that if you reset one of the memories ( depending on which chip 
was selected ) the other wouldnt loose its. great for a crash i think. i 
think in order for the swich to work you had to turn off the calc swich it 
and turn it back on, but hes i dont know. :-) ask grant.
