Yes, I have also used the 2.5mm to 3.5mm converter from Radio Shack. I need it for my homemade
link cable, unfortunately, it is a piece of crap made in Taiwan and is sold for 10 fold the
times it cost to make it.  I strongly recommend not using any converter, or at least not any
from Radio Shack.

P.S. Unlike most of you regular users (Grant, etc.) I get the Digest version of TI-Hardware, so
expect a delay in my responses.
