I know that this topic has come up before, but... I found this site that has
an Infrared device that hooks up to the parallel port. Using the right
software it allows you to basically download code from your remote and then
use your PC as your new IR remote. I built the thing and it works fine. I
was wondering if anyone knew of a way that this could be hooked up to the
TI-92? It uses the same pins as the parallel link. If this is conceivable,
would someone consider helping me write a program for the calculator? I
would rather have this sort of simple device, as I don't feel that Pics or
AVRs are required for simple electronics.
