Well, I'd first try taking it back to the store.  If they won't replace 
it then send it to TI along with a copy of the sales receipt.  TI will 
send you a new one completely free.  It's cheaper for them to send you a 
new calc than it is for them to repair it.  As long as it's still in one 
piece TI will replace it.  Someone even posted a message awhile back that 
said that they sent in a calc with a turbo switch on the side and TI gave 
them a new one...
