Any package has the option of a socket.  You can buy a prototyping socket
that takes care of that problem.

The amiga didn't use chips for IDE hard disks if you made your own
controller.  The Amiga's design is realy close to a 68k mac.  There isn't a
point on not doing mp3 decoding on an external chip, since thats what I'm
trying to get away from.

The 'average' 15 yearold would like something cheep that he can buy for $99
at WalMart not some big 5 chip expensive thing sold at radioshack.  ;)
