Essentially, command line OS's are much faster for certain tasks, such as
non-graphical programming, and certain type of file management, than GUI's
can.. and GUI's are better for certain things (DTP, WYSIWYG documents,
anything graphical). Plus it is much easier to remotely command a command
line OS. Unix and DOS are great tools for someone who knows what they are
doing.
