Its not called G2, but I know that there is some weird new ethernet that is
faster than ATM.  The only readon it isn't the fad, is because it uses
different wires and hardware than ATM...  Since there is too much use of
ATV, the new gigabyte ethernet will never catch on...   Maybe someday,
(2010) but not now...  I read it in some popular science magazine at the
fairbanks memorial hospital.
