Yes.  What basically happened was the top two pixel rows repeated
themselves every 5 or so pixel rows like so:

AAoooooooooooooAAooooooooooooooAA
ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
AAoooooooooooooAAooooooooooooooAA
ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
AAoooooooooooooAAooooooooooooooAA

AA=top of cursor
o=blank

There was some random junk throne in, too.
I realized that I was still under the 30 day exchange policy at Best Buy
on this calc, so I exchanged it. Problem solved!
