A PIC can't imagine to do 100MHz operations on anymore than 0 pins...  Not
even the PPC403 or 401 RISC microcomputer chips...

You need to get some deticated controllers...  go to www.national.com.  You
can get samples of a 100mbps hub/repeater and some interface chips to build
yourself a network...

btw, I'm back.  The IBM died for some reason (understandable...).  :)
