I can just see it now.

when CD-ROM's came out to the public they were like $400-$600 for a 2X
I just bought(2 weeks ago) a 32X for $59.99

DVD-ROM's are like $600-$1500 so in like 5-10 years DVD-ROM's will be like $60
god only knows what will replace them
