Yes it has 2-way comm.

All the parts, except the SFH506-30 IR module, can
be bougth from DigiKey (http://www.digikey.com).
For the IR module take a look at the list of Siemens
distributor on my page.

It would need the asm programs for remote controlling and for
chatting, since there are no such features in the TI-OS,
especially when it comes to multi-users chats.
