I'll vote for this too.  I don't mind the off-topic messages much
at all, I think of TI-Hardware more of a community of people who
all have a common intrest in hardware related (and specificly TI
related) topics, rather than a dedicated discussion list.

Fortunately the subscriber list is small enough that we have
the freedom to choose, larger lists must be kept on-topic a
bit more rigidly.
