TI-H: IR Led problems
I hapened to be near Radio $hack today, so i decided i'd walk in and see
what overpriced junk i could buy today...for $2.00 i found an IR
LED/Detector pair. I thought "Oh, cool...i can buy one of these and see if i
can get a simple IR circuit working. So, i take em home, and start using my
trusty alligator clips to hook em up. Unfortunately, i've run into a bit of
a problem. No matter how i hook up the detector, i either always get current
passing through, or i never get current passing through. It never seems to
be "Only when i'm shining my little IR Led on you that i get light. I'm
thinking it's probably the detector that's dead, but i can't be sure. I'm
slightly angered by this :>
