I will not sell kits to make the link because it would not
been cost effective; what can be bought at $1.8 in the us
(the SFH506) does cost here $4.2.
You can find all the part numbers on my page, if I forgot 
something please tell me. On my page also there is a link
to the distributors of Siemens in the us, from which you
have to buy the SFH506 and an IR led (ie. SFH415).
All other parts can be bought from digikey.
