I had/have the same problem with LPT1. But for some reason LPT2 works just fine!

I've tried to get the Parallel Link Working, but  I can never get the
correct values with  LINKTEST.   I've switched wires and diodes around,
but I can only ever get two of the four vaules to match up.  Any one
have any ideas?
