I tried making a parallel link. At first it worked fine, but the next 
day it didn't work anymore.
In the linktest program I get the following values:

send 00 - read 00 - should be 00
send 01 - read 20 - should be 20
send 02 - read 00 - should be 10
send 03 - read 30 - should be 30

I double checked all connections and everything seems to be fine.
I used 1N4007 diodes, perhaps that could be the problem.
Should I try using 1N4148 diodes instead ?
