Yes, Madd is the "friend" I mentioned who will be turbo-ing my 86 soon.
(see above). You may note the similarity in our email addresses...
Thanks for the correction.

OK first off, take off your mittens when you type.
Second, haha TI-92's are forbidden! (I just can't use mine in math
class, it's fine if I use it for math at home or in other classes)
And in regard to the keyboard type, I have been wondering something.
The rule for the ACB (American College Board) tests is that the
calculator may not have a QWERTY keyboard. You can easily remove the
cover of the calculator (back it up, it clears the memory) and rearrange
the keys. You could set it up any way you want. Alpha, Dvorak,
something of your own design, whatever you want! Of course, it would
still function like a QWERTY unless someone made a hack (hint hint)...
The keyboard would no longer be a QWERTY keyboard, and thus it wouldn't
be against any of the rules!
Comments? Anyone have connections with the ACB?
All TI graphing calcs have keyboards, it's just that only the 92 has a
QWERTY. The others support the entire alphabet, so why should the
arrangement matter? Banning calculators with keyboards should be total
or not at all. Jeez, some people are really stupid.
OK bye now, I'll go complain somewhere else. ;)
