Re: TI-H: TI-92 link
Hi Niccolas!
Currently, the only way that I know of to receive a rom dump from the
92 using the graphlink cable is to start some kind of terminal program,
capture the input to text, and use the send romdump (ASCII) program to
send the ASCII dump to the terminal program. After that's done (15-30
minutes, just depending) use the romconvert program supplied with the
fargo distribution to convert the ASCII dump to a bin dump. Now, this
is buggy. If the transfer gets screwed up or interrupted (ie-smartdrive
or screensaver, whatever) and you miss a byte, you've got to start all
over!!!!!!! Bummer. I am currently working on a piece of software to
receive a romdump error free first time trying through the graphlink
cable, but I'm finding myself short on time and I haven't heard much
enthusiasm from the emulator list. If the demand arises (email me) I
will try to hurry development onthe project (it's my first time really
programming something, so it's slow going), otherwise, your best bet is
to just try to use Windows's terminal or the Macintosh equivalent.
Good Luck!
