RE: TI-H: Clock
How about testing by messing with contrast? as soon as the calc drops contrast to a point where nothing is visible, the user has to press a key.
The program can then calculate how much battery power is left, and subsequently, a closer approximation of the clock speed at that point in time. The only real problem that I see is how in the heck to calculate that value, but it would be closer than the current clock program on the 83.

them) to do the clocking and as for the batteries, just do what the old
DOS does. Ask the time on boot (in this case on TSR installation) and do
another step, have the person check a clock and press a button every 5
seconds, like 1-3 time and figure the battery loss and future loss (if
he/she pressed it like 3+ times.) I personally think the clock is nice,
but why can't you just carry a watch?
