Re: TI-H: Expander SF
The cable breaks inside often. I have seen two of them like that. I
tried fixing one, and had no luck, but the other one worked fine after
putting a TI-TI cable on it (mine, one end broke off so I cut it in
half). I don't use the bulky ESF box and cable. I make them into
cartridges that plug into a tiny port I created for the calcs. I have
instructions on building the ESF SPinTerface Cart and the SPinTerface
Port itself.
The port is tiny and the cartridge is only 1.5" x 7/8" x 1/4" in size!
It is so small that I lay it ontop of my screen and slide the calculator
cover over it to store it! You simply plug it in or unplug it! It's best
to do it with the calc off, but it shouldn't matter. basicly, anything
that you should or shouldn't do with the original, you follow with the
cart
It isn't that dificult to build yourself if you are good with
electronics.
If you are afraid to touch inside your calc, email me and I can talk
about converting it for you. I also do free turbos when I install the
SPinTerface Port.
