TI-H: hahahahaha at least mine is a true backlight
DONT call cheap Illuminators you tape onto your calc backlights. Read
the word BACK-LIGHT, to light from the back. It works great and I don't
appreciate the cheapest guaranteed to work REAL backlight being compared
to a mini flashlight with tape. Your device is an illuminator and mine
is a backlight. You can do the job yourself for much cheaper than $30,
but I take most of that money and save it so If I ever do screw up a
calc, I can replace it, free of charge to the customer. It's called
insurance. If you want to do the job yourself, consider about $12 for
the proper LEDs (must be high brights), a couple bucks for the
plexiglass to be cut and some sand paper. You'll need a switch and
either a fixed or a variable resistor. That can add up to over or at
least near $20 if you don't buy in bulk like I do.
You must have a very nice illuminator for your screen, but you don't
have a 100% internal backlight.
Besides, what if you dropped your calc and your tape tore off!!!
>>I made a light that i taped to my calculator and said it was backlit,
