Okay, how about this:
M-Systems will be releasing parallel flash chips (that's ONE chip) with
capacities of 74 megabytes in "near" future. There are already 12
megabyte versions available. Considering the power requirements of a
hard drive, using a chip is far less demanding and much, much smaller.
