Recently there have been people saying that with the 5v regulators that
are being used with the SPI (SPInterace) once the batteries go below 5v,
the power won't be regulated and that could be bad for some cartriges.

Would it be possible to use a voltage regulator that puts out 4.5 volts?
If so, it would be cool because you could use recharegable batteries.

It's just an idea and I have no clue about whether 4.5v is non-standard
or whether some chips won't work with it or something, so pay no
attention if you wish.
