I am confused, do I get the LM2931Z-5.0 or the LP2954IS?

(Sorry for the trouble but I am "electronically defficient" :) I did however
get the green Beginners electronics book from RadioShack thought which is a
step :) It is a VERY good book and I recommend it to anyone)
