I was able to get both. 2 of each.
You go to this URL:

(if you haven't already)
and go to the bottom where is a table, listing both the LP2954IS and the
LP2954IT seperately.
Each has an option to order samples. I don't know about you but I was
able to do this.

If you'll notice the LP2954IS has a different "sample URL" than the IT,
so I don't think you should have that problem...
