The error message doesn't matter. It won't harm anything. Here's an ideal
IRQ system I'm using:
COM1=IRQ3
COM2=IRQ4
COM3=IRQ5
COM4=IRQ9
LPT1=none
LPT2=none
SOUND=IRQ10
MIDI=IRQ12
WSS=IRQ11
EIDE Controller 1=IRQ14
EIDE Controller 2=IRQ15
If you get it like this (there is still IRQ7 left over that I can use) then
you won't get any conflicts!
