I never had a problem with the software itself. After I fixed my IRQ 
conflict, they both worked fine. Never saw that error message at the 
beginning either. Maybe you should try re-installing it, or putting in 
that patch for the parallel links... who knows, strange things are 
commonplace in the world of computers..
