I've pulled out C9 completely. Two of my friends have pulled out C9
completely. One of those friends has operated on both the original TI85
and the newer CE TI85 calculators. If your calculator is NOT the CE
edition (european community) then you do not need to connect the open
circuit leave it open! If your calculator is CE, then I will need to
consult with my friend.
