I followed all of the instructions that you gave, and it worked almost
perfect. When I run the test I get on the third test line:
send 02 - read 10 - should be 20
then on the bottom all of them are:
send 00 - read 00 - should be 00
send 01 - read 00 - should be 20
send 02 - read 00 - should be 10
send 03 - read 00 - should be 30
I have the plug in LPT1. The lc85 runs fine as well....but when I run
the link software it won't send or receive. It just gives me an error!!
Except for Connect '85 which doesn't do anything.
Also: Instead of sodering onto the 2.5mm plug I cut off the actual plug
and used the wires underneath. Does anyone know what colors correspond
to what part on the plug? I came up with:
1=Red
2=White
3=Copper with no insulation
,--,-- __
|P| 3| 2| 1|
|L|__|__'--'
|U|
|G|
Do I have 1 and 3 wrong?
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Robbie Bosworth
