TI-H: 92 upgrade info (not good news for US Residents)
I have detailed info on upgradeability on the TI-92!!!
1. RAM upgrade
The 92 is upgradeable to 256K!!! However, the upgrade is available
ONLY IN EUROPE. Any persons in europe wishing to upgrade their calc, call
a local distributor for more info. I will post info on US upgradability as
it becomes available. (Note: if any european 92 owners upgrade their 92,
please post info on how it was done to TI-Hardware, Lisf-Fargo, or directly
to me mailto:///rmay@esu3.esu3.k12.ne.us and I will post it for you.)
2. ROM upgrade.
TI will only replace your rom if it is an old version (most likely
1.0 or 1.1). Call 1-800-TI-CARES for shipping info and such.
3. Link Cables
TI sells ti-ti links for $5.00 plus S+H.
4. Graph Link Cables
TI sells graph links directly for $55.00 plus S+H.
5. Snap-on covers
TI sells the snap-on cover for the 92 for $1.00 plus S+H.
