Sometimes
the jack on the circuit board gets pulled loose. There is no fix for this other
than trying your hand at a soldering gun. The jack size is not standard and no
common parts house stocks TI’s custom jack or receptacle.

Subject: [TIB] Re: Calc
Problems-Link
I am
guessing chances are your link cable is worn out. They are darn flimsy
things, and I have gone through at least 4 or 5 of them (but I know a teacher
at school who has some, so I trade 'em out for good ones LoL)... Try a
new link cable and see if that helps. If not, I'll see what else I can
think of.
I am using a ti-86. Up until a while ago my link on the
calculator stopped working. I cannot get anything off my computer to calc, calc
to computer, or even calc to calc. I was wondering if there is a fix for this
or if i have to get a new calc. Or even if anyone else has dealt with this
problem.
