Many computers exist and are being developed that are called "Legacy free", 
meaning that all serial and parellell ports have been replaced with USB 
ports. Gateway, Sony, and Apple all have LF PCs, and more are probably coming 
out from manufacturers like Compaq (who might as well singlehandedly destroy 
the known computer market, like they aren't already), HP, and E-Machines. I 
think the EOne series from the latter is already a LF (save several PS/2 
ports for KB and mouse).
