Yes, its not like going from the TI-85 to the TI-86, or even the TI-82 to the
TI-86. The TI-89 is like a whole new platform. The BASIC language is very
different from the other TI-8x calculators. It's more complicated and more
advanced. The TI-8x calculators are Z80 based, and the TI-89/92(+) are 68k
based, so they are very different from a assembly programming perspective. But
I must say, TI-89 games are much more advanced than TI-86 games. :)
