It's archive memory. You can store stuff in it, but you can't write to it.
You need to unarchive it (move it back to the main memory), then edit it, and
move it back. The only reason it's there instead of 700k of normal RAM is
that this is cheaper. It's useful for programs, pictures, data - anything
that isn't edited often. On HWII with AMS 2.03, it's combined with the FLASH
ROM.
