grant i think he means 68000, not 68020 and up like you have said.
im not sure if the 68000 linux is close to booting or not, but due to the
lack of peripheal options on the 89/92+ (difficult to use any sort of hds.
even if we could, it woudl be way to slow of access.)
I dont think a 89/92+ linux port is feasible.
