We get your drift.  :)
This is a good idea.  And it would allow folders real easily.
Plus, since the directory tables would be dynamic, (they would be files)  it
would save space, because if you had one file in the table, it would be
small, and if you had two hundred files in it, it would be bigger.
It would always be just big enough :)
