Well, to throw a counter-example at you, I love math.  It is pure logic.
Straight-forward and very simple if your head is on right (if it is on
left/wrong then it needs to switch directions).  Of course, those around me
tend to think that I am a bit crazy - they want to hurt me when I say that
Calculus is fun.

I do have to admit that a lot of people don't like math.  I find math to be
a way to free the mind and make it grow.  Most people probably don't like
math because they think that it is completely useless and won't help them
out anywhere...thus you see a lot of people who only have basic Algebra
skills to get them through the mundane chores of balancing the checkbook
and filling out tax forms.

As a programmer I have to love math and logic or my life will basically
suffer.  Since I love math and logic, programming becomes a piece of cake.
