Re: Downloads from TI web page
I find it strange that this problem does not occur with other web pages that I
download from.

| Ben,
| If you could tell us your exact version #, I would be able to help you
| out to some extent (depending on the version). To check this, go to the
| Help menu under Internet Explorer and click on "About Internet Explorer" A
| dialog box with a few MS graphics should pop up with your version #, product
| ID, and a few other things simimlar to that. I need to know your FULL
| version #, just that, and then I might be able to help you out further. For
| example, my browser's version # is: 5.50.4134.0600IS . The reason that
| version numbers are sometimes extremely long is because of the constant
| amount of changes made to the program. When a change of almost any kind is
| made to the source code of the program, the version # is modified
| accordingly. The larger the update, the larger interval of the version #
| changed. So, if they changed only a few insignificant features of the
| program, the version # would only be changed up from, for example,
| 5.50.4134.0600IS to 5.50.4200 . What I'm trying to say is that even if
| your version is nearly identical to mine, th e changes made could have
| affected something like that. Otherwise, I think Internet Explorer has many
| very tiny glitches that prevent it from properly viewing some pages, even if
| they say they should work with IE. Anyway, get me that # and I'll help you
| out some more.
| Thanks,
| Peter Magenheimer
