Very interesting.  I am not sure, but now I am curious.  I can see the problem with yours, however.  You are trying to answer a different problem, as you probably know already.  I have a question for you, Steve.  I am wondering why you said you got 64%, when your start gets you 9%.  Could you please post your other steps to get that answer?

I've been wracking my brain (?!?) and can't come up with the answer to a probability problem:
 
In a certain country, 55% of babies born are boys.  10 babies are born on Jan. 1.  What is the probability that exactly 4 of them are boys?
 
 
The answer is 16%, but I have only come up with 64%.
 
The way I tried was this:   the probability of the first four being boys is (.55)(.55)(.55)(.55) or .0915.
 
Now what?
