In one of the file archives on TICALC.org there is a program that allows you
to play a piano on your TI-83, you just need a set of headphone with an
adaptor to go into your link port on the calculator. It's a really neat
idea, and from what I have heard is very cool. Also, Detached Solutions was
at one time working on a program that would allow you to control an MP#
player(either that or midi) from your calculator. Sound, and tones can be
generated from a TI-83, there aren;t very many programs out there that do
that though, like I said, look for the piano one if your interested in a
program that runs sound.
