In case you've forgotten the logarithm change of base formula...
log (number)
------------------ i.e. log 2 (16777216) = 24
log (base) 2^24 = 16777216
Yes, the "2" should be in subscript, but I can't do that without doing a
little HTML formatting...and people always seem to get ticked when I do that.
Go figure.
Anyway...I'm pretty sure that's right. Been a long time since I've used
it...so if it's wrong, I am ready and willing to accept a beating.
