BASIC programs slow to load on the 86?

BASIC programs slow to load on the 86?

I noticed that BASIC programs take a LOT longer to load on my 86 than on my
old 83, especially if it hasn't been run for a while or has been edited (or
even opened up in the editor but unchanged).  I take it that it stores it
somewhere for faster access, but it gets kinda annoying...is there any
fix/way around it?
